What we check on every visit
This is Driftwood's own visit checklist. Your home can have its own lines added too, like the propane tank gauge or the water softener salt.
Outside
- Remove fliers and newspapers
- Pick up any mail
- Check for drainage issues
- Check the pool's water level and color
- Look for storm damage
- Note anything in the landscaping
- Check the nighttime lighting
Inside
- Check every door and window for damage and security
- Read the humidity level
- Inspect the AC and water heater for leaks
- Check the refrigerator's temperature, and for mold if it's off
- Look at every room and ceiling for water stains or leaks
- Run every sink, shower and toilet, and check the pipes underneath
- Look for signs of rodents and pests
Closing up
- Secure the home and set the alarm
- Send the report to you, or to whoever you name
Every line is marked Done, Working on it, Needs attention or N/A, with notes and photos. Anything that needs attention comes with a recommendation, and a price before any work is done.
